Software development:
The two fields of activity "Consulting services" and "Software development" are interlinked on purpose. It is important to be competent in a particular area, i.e. in project engineering, to be able to develop optimal and state-of-the-art application software. This is the reason why we are only developing software programs for areas in which we have extensive engineering experience. Our main software products are...:
- HYSTEM-EXTRAN (urban sewer systems simulation, hydrodynamic transport calculations; with integrated database)
- GIPS (visualization and modeling of urban sewer systems from within AutoCAD; uses the HYSTEM-EXTRAN database)
- KOSIM (analysis of retention basins in urban drainage systems (such as combined sewer overflows, trough and trench systems, stormwater retention ponds), continuous simulations meant to assess a system's performance)
- CONTROL (Quantity- and quality-oriented Real-Time-Control of sewer systems, uses HYSTEM-EXTRAN as simulation model)

Software training courses:
Training courses play another important part in itwh's activities. itwh consultants have many years of experience and always had a close relationship to the universities. Thus, we are able to present, during our training courses, a specific software package to our customers, and - what is even more important - to introduce these customers to new industry standards and to give them practical and scientific background information.
